As part of our ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility, our team is proud to celebrate the successful completion of the Cotswold Way Ultra Challenge, a meaningful fundraising journey in support of The Openwork Foundation.

This CSR project was more than a physical challenge. It was a shared mission to support vulnerable individuals, families, and communities who are facing difficult circumstances across the UK and overseas. Through this initiative, the BVS Mortgages team aimed to raise both funds and awareness for a foundation that helps create life-changing opportunities for those who need support the most.

The challenge took our team through the beautiful Cotswold countryside, travelling from Cirencester Basecamp to Painswick. Covering approximately 23km with around 600m of climb, the route tested endurance, teamwork, and determination from start to finish. Every step carried a deeper meaning. It represented hope, care, and a commitment to giving back to the wider community.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters, clients, colleagues, family, and friends, BVS Mortgages not only reached its fundraising target but proudly exceeded it. Our original goal was £2,800, and together we successfully raised £3,168, achieving 113% of the target with the support of 173 donors.

This achievement is a powerful reminder of what can happen when people come together for a shared purpose. Every donation, whether big or small, helped turn a challenging journey into a meaningful community impact. Each contribution supports the valuable work of The Openwork Foundation and helps fund projects that make a real difference to vulnerable people and communities.

The Openwork Foundation plays an important role in supporting initiatives that improve lives, provide opportunities, and bring hope to those facing hardship. For BVS Mortgages, supporting this foundation was a meaningful opportunity to give back, strengthen our community values, and contribute to causes that reflect care, responsibility, and compassion.

The Cotswold Way Ultra Challenge was not just about reaching the finish line. It was about resilience, unity, and purpose. From the first steps at Cirencester to the final stretch towards Painswick, the team carried the encouragement of every donor with them. The journey was filled with determination, memorable moments, and a strong sense of achievement.
